What is the equipment?
Your Desktop Video Studio includes professional-grade audio, video, lighting, teleprompter, training and software. In front, clamped to the desk: studio-grade dimmable lights, a digital SLR camera with a lens, a teleprompter, a directional mic, one-button power on and off, automatic camera focusing, a stand with three retractable arms, a mounting pole with adjustable ball head, a cable management system, and adaptors and cables.
Behind you: a studio-grade dimmable backlight, a studio-grade dimmable feature light, and a 3.7m telescopic mounting pole. Desk mounted with zero floor space.
What is the investment?
Studios start from $100 a week financed. If you prefer to pay upfront, we’ll provide a tailored quote based on your setup.
Why can’t I modify the setup?
The studio is purpose-built for high performance and consistency. Modifying or moving it may compromise quality, disrupt workflow, and void your warranty. It’s designed to stay fixed in one optimal spot on your sit or stand desk, requiring no extra floorspace.
How do I record?
Recording with the Desktop Video Studio is as simple as using a webcam. Videos are saved directly to your hard drive. The teleprompter and real-time feedback features let you deliver polished performances without the hassle of learning complicated software.
Do I need editing software?
No, editing software isn’t required to produce your videos. Once your video is ready, you can send it to us for assistance. For basic editing, free or affordable tools and apps provide pre-made templates, stock images and video clips.
What do I need to connect?
The Desktop Studio requires a sturdy sit or stand desk with at least 7cm of clamp space. This plug-and-play solution is compatible with macOS and Windows computers less than five years old, and connects via USB. The teleprompter connects with the supplied HDMI or USB-C cable as an extended monitor.
Shipping and warranty?
A professional video technician will deliver and set up your Desktop Studio anywhere in Australia. Additional fees may apply outside metro areas. The studio includes a 12-month warranty for defective equipment, excluding damage or misuse. If you’re not satisfied upon receiving your studio, contact us within 30 days for assistance.
