Getting confident on camera

Confidence on video comes from clarity, repetition, and a system you can rely on.

Getting comfortable in front of the camera

Five questions
Chris Schwager on on-camera delivery

What if I’m not comfortable talking directly to the camera?

That’s common. Many people find conversations easier than solo camera work. Video coaching helps bridge that gap by building confidence, simplifying delivery, and focusing on progress rather than perfection.

Can I join if I’ve never published a video?

Yes. Starting from zero is completely fine. The coaching is designed to take you from clarity, to rhythm, to consistent output. You don’t need prior experience or existing content to begin.

Will video coaching improve my on-camera delivery?

Yes. The focus of Video Confidence Collective is on building muscle memory through repetition, guided practice, and real-world publishing. Confidence and performance improve through doing, not theory.

How do I get better on camera quickly?

Improvement comes from showing up consistently with professional guidance. Early videos are rarely perfect, but confidence, delivery, and presentation improve naturally through developing repeatable skills and a proven methodology.

What does on-camera presentation training look like?

On-camera presentation training is part of the Video Confidence Collective and focuses on understanding the methodology behind presenting confidently and effectively on camera. The training is designed to help people improve quickly and build confidence for both video and public presentation.

What gets in the way, and what fixes it

Five questions
Chris Schwager on camera anxiety and what causes it

What stops people from succeeding with video?

Procrastination, perfectionism, fear of judgement, and lack of accountability. The system and coaching are designed to eliminate those patterns.

What stops people from following through with video?

Procrastination, overthinking, lack of clarity, and prioritising other tasks. Without accountability, video slips down the list. The program is designed to reduce friction, mental load, and decision fatigue so publishing becomes easier over time.

Is the coaching more about mindset or technical skills?

It’s both. Skills are important, but mindset is critical. Perfectionism and decision fatigue are common blockers. The coaching addresses mindset first, then builds practical skills so momentum isn’t lost.

Is the coaching about getting videos published or getting them perfect?

Output. Progress comes from publishing, not polishing. Coaching focuses on implementation, confidence, and momentum rather than endless refinement.

What’s the biggest mistake people make when starting a video?

Over-engineering the process. Trying to solve everything at once creates decision fatigue. The focus should be on identifying one problem and creating one useful video asset to address it.

What the coaching covers

Seven questions
Chris Schwager on scripting a video that holds attention

What are the four key areas covered in coaching?

Messaging, performance, technology, and implementation. When all four are aligned, video becomes simple and repeatable instead of overwhelming.

Does the coaching cover strategy as well as delivery?

It covers both. Feedback includes delivery elements such as speaking speed, pitch, and on-camera presence, as well as strategic elements like video structure, messaging frameworks, and storytelling.

get video messaging tips that actually work

Does the coaching include help with testimonials and messaging?

Yes. Messaging includes how to structure strong testimonials, ask better questions, and create content that actually connects instead of generic praise.

Does the coaching include guidance on software and tools?

Yes. While no software is sold, guidance is provided on recommended tools and workflows. A detailed workbook includes a comprehensive tech stack used in real-world setups.

How does coaching actually help build authority?

Authority comes from showing up consistently. Coaching focuses on confidence, clarity, and repetition so you’re visible regularly, not just producing one-off videos.

Will I be making the videos myself, or do you make them?

The coaching is about giving you the understanding and capability to create content yourself. It’s not a done-for-you production service. The focus is on clarity, confidence, and building a repeatable process so you can record with purpose and momentum. If additional videography services are needed such as on location filming, we can make recommendations.

How does Chris’s coaching style change what clients produce?

I focus on removing friction rather than adding complexity. My coaching integrates messaging clarity, on-camera performance training, technical simplification and real-world publishing habits. Clients don’t just “feel better.” They produce more, publish more and convert more.

How the programme runs

Seven questions

How long is the coaching programme and what does it achieve?

The Video Confidence Collective runs for six months. The goal is to build consistency, confidence, and habit so video becomes predictable and easy, allowing it to attract leads on autopilot to market and sell while you sleep. Each session is one hour long, and replays are provided if a session is missed.

join the Video Confidence Collective

What are the weekly coaching sessions and when do they run?

Weekly live video coaching sessions run every Tuesday at 11 a.m. Sydney time. These sessions are designed to give direct, specific feedback and guidance to help participants progress faster. Replays are available if a session is missed.

How does the Video Confidence Collective improve consistency?

The Video Confidence Collective creates protected time, accountability and live coaching focused on implementation. Members learn for an hour and do for an hour. That rhythm transforms video from a sporadic task into a weekly business asset. Consistency becomes built-in rather than forced.

Is there a course included alongside the coaching?

Yes. The program includes a full video course and a comprehensive workbook, alongside live coaching and direct access for support.

Do I get any workbooks or materials with the coaching?

Yes. You receive course content and a comprehensive workbook with scripts, templates, audits, AI prompts, and tech stacks.

Is the script writing and messaging framework a self-paced course?

Yes. The script writing and messaging framework is built into the Video Confidence Collective and is included in the self-paced course. However, attending the weekly live sessions is strongly advised to get specific guidance and fast-track progress rather than trying to figure it out alone.

Is the programme about learning video or actually publishing it?

Implementation is the priority. Results come from scripting, recording, publishing, and reviewing videos. Consuming information alone doesn’t create outcomes. The people who get results are the ones who take action and submit their videos for feedback.

Getting your videos reviewed

Five questions

What do personalised video reviews look like?

Personalised video reviews are delivered primarily via WhatsApp. Scripts or finished videos can be submitted and reviewed, with feedback provided as audio responses to give clear, fast direction before time is wasted heading in the wrong direction.

How many videos can I get reviewed, and over what period?

Video reviews are available throughout the full six-month duration of the Video Confidence Collective. There is no fixed number of videos stated. Support is ongoing during this period via WhatsApp.

Do I need to publish a video before I can get feedback?

Yes, where possible. Reviewing published videos shows commitment and avoids perfectionism. Visibility only happens when content is live.

What happens if I record a video but feel unsure about it?

You can send the video for feedback before going further. The guidance focuses on practical next steps rather than perfection. The priority is publishing and building confidence through action.

What happens if I’m unsure about a video or script?

You can send it for review via WhatsApp and get direct feedback on what to adjust before publishing, instead of second-guessing yourself.

Support between the weekly sessions

Four questions
Chris Schwager on the coaching and support that runs between sessions

How does WhatsApp support actually work?

You can send scripts or questions and receive quick voice feedback. This prevents overthinking and keeps momentum moving without long delays.

Is there ongoing support between sessions?

Yes. Support is available via WhatsApp, where questions can be sent and answered with audio replies. Coaching is flexible and responsive rather than rigidly agenda-driven.

What support do I get outside the weekly sessions?

You receive access to a video course/ workbook and WhatsApp support. Clients can send scripts or published videos for feedback, which is often delivered via voice messages. This allows for fast, practical guidance during implementation.

How responsive is the WhatsApp support?

Support is responsive but varies depending on activity levels. Some clients reach out frequently at the start, then less as confidence increases. The goal is to help clients build independence rather than rely on constant support.

What it costs and how to start

Six questions

What does the group coaching cost?

The six-month group coaching program is approximately $3,500, with one month free when paid upfront. There is also a monthly option available.

Is coaching included with the studio, or is it an add-on?

Six months of group coaching is included. This runs weekly for one hour and covers technology, messaging, performance, and implementation. Ongoing support is also provided during the week via WhatsApp.

see what a professional setup costs

Can I trial the coaching before committing long term?

Yes. A monthly option is available to trial the program before committing to the full six month package. You may also be invited to join a one-time Video Confidence Collective or Masterclass session.

Can I buy the coaching on its own without the studio?

Yes. Coaching can be taken on its own as a starting point to build habits, messaging and confidence while cash flow improves, before investing in a full studio setup.

full studio setup

Do I need a studio before I start video coaching?

No. You don’t need the full setup to begin video coaching. The recommendation is to understand the video space first, get clarity and direction, and then decide what equipment makes sense later.

Can I start video coaching before my studio is installed?

Yes. Clients are welcome to join group coaching sessions before installation to experience the coaching and get an early start.

Time it takes each week

Three questions

How important is time management when going through the programme?

Time management is critical. Progress relies on prioritising time to practise, attend sessions, and build muscle memory. Consistent repetition is what makes video feel natural and reliable over time.

How much time do I need to commit to see results?

Consistency matters more than volume. Showing up weekly and doing small, repeatable actions builds momentum over time. The process is about doing reps, not one-off efforts.

How much time do I need each week?

One hour per week for the group coaching session, plus at least one hour of implementation. If that’s not possible, even 15 minutes of focused action keeps progress moving forward.

build a video schedule that avoids burnout

Whether the coaching or the gear is the point

Four questions

Is most of the value in the coaching rather than the equipment?

Yes. The coaching represents a significant portion of the value. The equipment enables recording, but the coaching ensures you actually show up, build confidence, improve messaging, and stay consistent.

see how the Desktop Studio works

Is a video studio about the equipment or the mindset?

It’s both. The technical setup and workflows remove friction, but they coexist with mindset coaching. Without behaviour change and implementation, even great-looking video won’t get published consistently.

Why can’t I buy the equipment without the coaching?

Because equipment without the right mindset, structure, and habits usually fails. The coaching exists to make sure the system is implemented properly and doesn’t become another unused tool.

see what a professional setup looks like

How do I make sure I actually use the studio after it’s installed?

The equipment alone isn’t the solution. The real driver of consistency is support, accountability, and habit-building. The video coaching focuses on messaging, performance, tech, implementation, and accountability so video becomes part of your weekly rhythm. Even 15 minutes of action per week is enough to build momentum.

Rolling it out across a team

Two questions

Should one person on my team be trained to run the studio?

Yes. One or two internal “champions” should be trained to operate the studio, manage scripts, and handle setup. This prevents every team member from needing technical knowledge and ensures fast, reliable use of the system.

Does the coaching work for teams and larger businesses?

Yes. For teams, it’s recommended that one internal “champion” manages the system, bookings, and workflows. This avoids needing to train multiple people on basic setup and keeps the process streamlined.

Not sure any of this would work for you?

Tell Chris the part you get stuck on and he’ll tell you straight whether coaching fixes it, before you commit to six months of anything.
