How a recording session actually runs

Three questions

Will the Desktop Studio look the same every time I record?

Yes. Once Desktop Studio is installed, lighting and framing are controlled so the setup looks identical every time you switch it on, even years later.

Four questions

Can I record other people, like testimonials or interviews?

Yes. You can record guests or testimonials by operating the system yourself while they simply present. This removes technical stress for them and keeps quality consistent.

Do I need special software to record with the Desktop Studio?

Initially No. You can record directly on your Mac using QuickTime, or on Windows using the Camera app. We recommend simple teleprompter software. It’s usually free or a small one-off payment made directly to the provider. Additional software may be recommended later and you will subscribe to the provider as needed.

Is cloud recording charged monthly, or by how much I store?

Cloud recording storage such as Vidyard, Riverside or Loom is typically a monthly subscription. Costs are relatively low and based on usage tiers rather than storage size.
